So, it's been 250 years since Aveiro became a town, so in collaboration with lots of other places (including my school) there was a parade (kinda) followed by the recreation of the delivery of... the card that makes a city a city (well, it's normal I don't know it's name in English!!). And OFC I participated. People could go as the nobility, the clergy and the people. (if the words are wrong, well blame the google translator). Of course I went as the nobility....Just in case, I'm the one with the black and red dress.
We had to go in line (order: a priest -> horses -> nobility ->clergy and then the people ahah) down the whole Avenue (hehe down the avenue) till we get to the place where the "king" would read the cart and then the priest would give a speach... and then a stupid looong choir song and then a speach (campaign, definitly) by the "mayor" of Aveiro. And it started raining as soon as we started to walk in the line... baaaah (and the place where we would pass was ALL covered with "grass") way too go, huge dresses and high heels (I wasn't wearing them hump!). This last, is a pic of me totally soaking wet after the whole thing (taking pics in momys car hehe). Vampy BiteZ from WickedKitty
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow, I am the softly falling snow. I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain. I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush Of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I do not die.
